About Travel to Nha Trang
Nha Trang is Vietnam’s 7th largest city and its most popular beach resort town. Nha Trang is the principal city of Vietnam’s Khangh Hoa province which is renown for its fantastic beaches. Nha Trang has a 6 km long city centre beach which is very popular with Vietnamese tourists, who come for holidays during the summer season, particularly at the weekends, making the trains to Nha Trang very busy on a Friday night and the trains from Nha Trang back to Ho Chi Minh City just as busy with city workers heading back for work on Monday morning.

Foreign visitors with more time to enjoy the province might consider heading out of the city, 49 km to the North of Nha Trang train station to Doc Let beach and further down the peninsula upon which Doc Let beach is located to Jungle beach. Although not quite the super cool and as yet to be discovered locations that these two beaches were 10 years ago, Doc Let and Jungle beaches are a lot less busy than the main beach in Nah Trang, they have a more Bohemian fell and better value for money accommodation. Other than go to the beach two historical sites in Nha Trang are well worth visiting. Firstly, we suggest that you find the time to visit Po Nagar, a temple located on the Cu Lao Mountain 3.1 km to the north of Nha Trang train station. Po Nagar dates to the 8th Century AD and with both Hindu and Buddhist influences. Secondly, you should also visit Nha Trang’s Thanh Dien Khanh Fortress, which is a European style fortress built in 1973 which is located 10.6 km the east of Nha Trang train station.
