To the South of the city there are some moderately good beaches and one major historical attraction, the 9th Century Poshanu Cham Towers. Much of the length of Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street is lined with hotels, restaurants and bars.
This stretch of coastline has long sandy beaches which are very good for wind surfing and kite surfing. Indeed, the area is considered second only to Boracay in the Philippines for kite surfing, and lots of watersports enthusiasts come to Binh Thuan Province for that reason.
