About Travel to Ninh Binh
The main reason come to Ninh Binh Province is to visit the Tràng An Scenic Landscape Complex. Ninh Binh city is not itself a popular tourist destination, although a lot of travellers pass through Ninh Binh city which has the major train and bus stations in the province. The city also has good facilities which make it a convenient place to stay on route to visiting the Tràng An Scenic Landscape Complex.

The Tràng An Scenic Landscape Complex is a UNESCO World Hertiage Site covering an area of 6,226 hectares. Within the complex there are several different places to visit. The most popular is the Bích Động valley where visitors can take a boat ride through rice fields with steep karst mountains on either side and on into a submerged cave. There are more submerged caves and steep karst mountains in the similar Tam Coc area of the Tràng An Scenic Landscape Complex. There are also some notable temples set within this unique landscape such as the massive Bai Đính Temple complex and the 15th Century Bich Dong Pagoda.
