About Phan Rang – Thap Cham

Phan Rang – Thap Cham City encompasses what was previously two separate towns, Phan Rang and Thap Cham. The railway station is in Thap Cham, as is the major historical attraction in the area, Po Klong Garai Temple. Other than this temple there is little else for tourists to do or see in Thap Cham itself, and very few facilities for holiday makers.

The other part of the city, Phan Rang, is a much busier place which is popular with Vietnamese holiday makers. The main attraction in Phan Rang is the 6 km long gently curving white sand beach located right in the city centre. There are lots of hotels and restaurants located on or near the beach, although few cater specifically to foreign visitors.
